As we have done in years past, there are no Business (Command Staff) or Social (General) meetings for the month of December. This is because the holidays are a very busy time for our crew — filled with Christmas parties, traveling, shopping, pageants, and the like. So instead of adding two more events for our members to attend, we’ve decided to try and keep it simple. We’ll have our Anniversary Dinner this Saturday, a Costuming Workshop next week, and (hopefully) a New Year’s Eve party. But other than that, we’ll not meet again until January 7.
And speaking of our first Business Meeting of the year: now is the time to start looking at 2011. At the January 7th meeting, we’ll be discussing events and filling our calendars.
Between now and then, I want each of our members to evaluate 2010. What did we do that you liked? What did we do that you think we could improve upon? What activity (if any) do you think doesn’t work anymore, and we should just drop completely? What activities do you think we should start doing? Or maybe there’s one we haven’t done in awhile and should start up again. You bring your list, and I’ll bring mine, and I hope to see you all on January 7.
